This policy explains what personal information we collect through alickapaint.com, what we do with it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

• Estimate form: your name, phone number, email address (if you give one), the type of project, rooms, timeline, notes, special instructions such as pets or access, and a wall photo if you upload one.
• Finn, our online booking assistant: the messages you type, and the contact and project details you share in the chat. Finn is an automated assistant, not a person.
• Phone calls and emails you send us directly.

Information collected automatically: our hosting provider processes basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies and receives your IP address and browser details. We do not run advertising or retargeting on this website. You can block or opt out of Google Analytics with your browser settings or Google's opt-out browser add-on.

We do not sell your personal information.

We use a small number of service providers to run this website. They process information only to provide their service to us:

• Base44, which hosts this website, stores the estimate requests and Finn conversations you send us, and provides the AI service that powers Finn.
• Resend, which delivers the email notifications about new estimate requests.
• Google, which provides website analytics (Google Analytics).
• Hamilton Brand Management, the company that manages this website for us. It receives a copy of each estimate request so it can confirm the request reached us and monitor how the site is performing.

These providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to courts and authorities under local law. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

We keep estimate requests and chat records only as long as needed to respond to you, carry out any work, and meet our legitimate business and legal purposes, then delete or anonymize them.

We use reasonable safeguards for the sensitivity of the information, including access controls and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as the law requires.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent to our use of it, subject to legal limits. Our services are for homeowners and businesses. This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
